I am a physical therapist and athletic trainer with close to 10 years of experience working with athletes in sports medicine. I treat a variety of sports and orthopaedic injuries. My specialties include athletes with hip pain, such as femoral acetabular impingement and hip soft tissue pathologies. In this area, I have developed novel protocols for rehabilitation for various arthroscopic hip surgeries. I also specialize in working with athletes with persistent pain conditions while taking a holistic approach to care.
I enjoy playing and watching many sports! I grew up playing a little bit of everything, including basketball, soccer, and running. In my adult years, I have developed a love for rock climbing and continued my passion for running.
1. I have the strongest, most dexterous feet of any human on earth.
2. I completed a PT clinical rotation in Italy.
3. I love intense hiking/outdoor adventures, and have summitted several 14,000 foot peaks
“Life is 10% what happens to you and 90% how you react to it.” – Charles R. Swindoll.
I believe strongly in an evidence-informed biopsychosocial approach. This means considering the entire patient situation, including patient beliefs, expectations, and goals. My strategy is always to meet you where you're at and help you reach where you'd like to go!
I am motivated to develop relationships with athletes and help them reach their goals.
My best/hardest race was my first half marathon in Vale, Colorado that was at over 10,000 feet elevation!
